About
What is the HighEdWeb Regional Conference?
HighEdWeb Regional is a conference for all higher education Web professionals — from programmers to marketers to designers to all team members in-between — who want to explore the unique Web issues facing colleges and universities. It is a localized spin-off from our parent organization, HighEdWeb, which has an annual national conference each fall. HighEdWeb is an organization of Web professionals working in higher education to design, develop, manage and map the futures of higher education Web sites. The Association’s mission is: “To advance Web professionals, technologies, and standards in higher education.”
Who runs HighEdWeb Regional?
This Regional at Vassar College is being coordinated by Megg Brown (Vassar College), Jason Woodward (Cornell University) and Rachel Reuben (SUNY New Paltz).
I work with the Web via marketing/admissions/alumni/etc — should I still attend?
Absolutely! Presenters and attendees for past HighEdWeb conferences come from public and private universities of all sizes, are housed in a great variety of departments, and hold diverse titles such as Web developer, marketing coordinator, programmer/analyst, graphic designer, director of Web communications, information services librarian and beyond. If you work in higher education and work with the Web, this conference is for you.
